Daniel Lee – Minister of Music
I began my ministry here at Calvary Baptist Church on July 30, 2006. I have three daughters, Lindsey (23, married to Adam Taylor, and living in Nashville), Jenna Clair (17), and Julianna (15) I am married to Julie Cranford Lee of Laurel, MS. After graduating from Bay Springs High School in 1979, I attended JCJC, and was called almost immediately to a small church in Jasper County as a part-time Music Minister. Since then, I have done my best to faithfully serve our Lord and Savior at churches in the MS area. I received my Music Education Degree at USM, but I felt God’s calling to the full-time music ministry rather than in teaching. I want to consider myself a Minister first and a music director second. While serving here at Calvary, I have enjoyed working with the Sanctuary Choir, a fantastic Student Choir, a contemporary Ensemble, a 3-octave Handbell Choir, and I love leading the congregation in singing praises to the God Most High! I love God with all of my heart, and I don’t mind saying that I am still growing more and more every day as I experience His love and forgiveness. I love our people, and I want to be faithful to serve them to the best of my ability. I want to thank the good people at Calvary for allowing me to serve them through God’s love!
